rev: complex design of oval escutcheon with lion figures and crown atop is surrounded by braches of laurel and berries. Inscription within oval center: 10 Juni / 1892.

This is a prize medal awarded for a variety of purposes in the 1890s. The obverse design is very similar to and possibly the predecessor or companion of the design used on silver and gold coins of the Netherlands during this period.
