The Portuguese colony of Timor was located in south east asia in the Timor sea just north of Australia. Timor still exists today, but has long since ceased to be a Portuguese colony.

With a beautiful design and a mintage of only 50,000 this appealing coin is very difficult to come by. This particular example has brilliant luster which the photos cannot fully express.
